I never cared much about time. I was never good at time management to begin with, but I also lived a life that allowed me to own my time.
I thought that because I was a barber and entrepreneur, I had the option to come and go as I pleased. Through maximizing my craft, opportunities opened for me to have people work around my schedule, which left me not having to plan much. I mastered the good old, “I do what I want, when I want” mentality and, truth be told, is what stop me in my tracks to creating any real success in my life. that very attitude would soon damage my beliefs that I can become valued.
Tips on How to Create My Value:
- Work on yourself daily
- Work harder on yourself than your Job
- Measure your time
- Read books in your industry or a biography (10–60 minutes a day)
- Attend seminars (recommend 2–4 a year)
- Interview successful people
- Networking with others
- Study other successful people and or businesses
- Become uncomfortable
- Be an Action Taker!
Be More Than Average
It is up to you to decide if and when you are ready to become more valuable. Do you want to be better than average? If so, you have to start becoming better with your time.
There are 1,440 minutes or 86,400 seconds in a 24 hour day. What will you do with time?

You must make yourself a believer. I’ve learned that if you do not believe in yourself, you can’t expect anyone else to believe in you. Stand up! Take that hunger for greatness upon yourself, and hold yourself accountable; in fact take it a step further seek out an accountability partner! Average people depend on average efforts, and average people makes the average excuses. Such as so; I don’t have enough time, it’s not my fault, train your mind to think positive thoughts, because what you think about you become.

People seek your advice, you are in high demand, when you speak they listen. If you are quick to jump and to go over and beyond, always looking for a way to give.
We have to do more than we get paid for. Be valuable. Once you submerge yourself into doing more than you’re paid for, your value will increase.
At some point you will be forced to change. The reason why most people never become who they truly want to be is because they are too busy being the person they was in the past. Focus on becoming excellence, why settle for less? Time waits for no man.
